The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the current status of the joint project for the construction of the “Modern Agrologistic Complex in the Jizzakh region”, as well as the definition of measures to accelerate its launch as soon as possible.
In particular, the parties considered the issues of joining the JV “BMB-NRC Agrologistics” to the engineering networks of external infrastructure, organizing the work of a customs post, a modern phytosanitary testing laboratory, production and processing lines, as well as recruiting qualified personnel.
In addition, the facility is planned to be connected to the Agroexpress project, which provides direct and unhindered supplies of Uzbekistan’s export products to foreign markets.
As a result of the business meeting, the parties reached an agreement to speed up construction, installation and commissioning work to put the facility into operation by July 1 this year.
In general, the commissioning of the Agrologistic Complex will provide the most demanded services for local exporters – sorting, calibrating, processing, packaging, freezing, storage, as well as preparing all the necessary documentation for agricultural products.
