A meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Spain

On January 28 of this year in Madrid, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB Holding Bekzod Mamatkulov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Spain Farrukh Tursunov. As noted, Uzbekistan has received the status of a beneficiary of the GSP+ system of preferences of the European Union and is actively working to become a member of the WTO. Thanks to consistent efforts, the investment climate in our country is improving and the scope of foreign trade is expanding.

At the same time, there is huge potential for trade development. Therefore, it is important to organize meetings of the business circles of the two countries in order to expand the list of supplied goods and increase their volumes.

During the meeting, it was noted that the most promising areas are the food industry, agriculture, public services and infrastructure development. In addition, both countries are members of large regional associations with free trade regimes. This creates additional conditions for expanding trade relations between entrepreneurs

It was noted with pleasure that the products manufactured by BMB Holding enterprises receive the most prestigious quality and organic certificates in Europe and the USA.

The parties focused on determining further steps in the development of trade and investment cooperation and industrial cooperation. During the negotiations, it was decided to mobilize untapped resources and opportunities by increasing the supply of agricultural products, holding joint business forums and “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibitions.
