On January 15 of this year, a meeting took place at the Embassy of Italy in Uzbekistan between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, and Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, projects implemented by the Holding and its enterprises in the fields of agriculture, primary and deep processing, export and import, construction, and tourism were discussed, along with issues related to their development.
The Ambassador particularly acknowledged the achievements made within the framework of implementing a project for cultivating and exporting saffron in the Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region, in cooperation with the Italian company FIN.OPERA s.r.l.
Furthermore, an agreement was reached to further strengthen strategic cooperation through the implementation of joint projects with major Italian companies in other sectors of the economy.
