On January 26 of this year, a meeting took place in Milan, Italy, between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING and Roberto Tucci President of HT HOLDING.
During the conversation, which proceeded in a constructive spirit, the parties discussed the effective implementation of the directives given during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Italian Republic. They also addressed the expansion of saffron plantations, increasing the geography and volume of exports, as well as diversifying saffron-based products through deep processing of saffron.
Additionally, discussions were held with Alessandro Mombelloni, partner and consultant of Ernst & Young Global Consulting in Italy, regarding the acceleration of cooperation to align the financial statements of enterprises within BMB HOLDING with international financial standards and to attract investments from international financial organizations for the implementation of new projects.
As a result of the meetings, an agreement was reached to further strengthen existing cooperation in the aforementioned areas, make wider use of Italian technologies in expanding the range of saffron products, and align financial operations with international standards.
