Following a series of fruitful meetings held in Italy as part of the visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING to European countries, a meeting was held on January 27 in Vienna with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Austria, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov.
During the meeting, the main focus was on further developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria in trade, economic, and investment spheres. The importance of the role of private sector representatives and business circles in expanding cooperation was emphasized.
Following the conversation, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the Holding’s Supervisory Board, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the President of AGROTEC HANDELS, Boris Kandov.
During the negotiations, based on the previous agreement, it was decided to promptly complete the process of formalizing the regulatory documents required by law for establishing an Austrian-Uzbek joint venture in Vienna. They also agreed to set up systematic supplies of deeply processed agricultural products to Austria and other European countries through Austria.
